Google Fi, formerly Project Fi, is an MVNO telecommunications service by Google that provides telephone calls, SMS, and mobile broadband using cellular networks and Wi-Fi.

Google Fi has some neat features that set it apart from other carriers. The carrier puts a lot of emphasis on privacy and security, adding its Google One VPN to its plans. There's also automatic end-to-end call encryption for Android devices when you're chatting with other Google Fi customers.

Samsung Galaxy smartphones now support Google Fi eSIM

Google Fi has announced that it is adding eSIM support to select Samsung Galaxy smartphones.

The Google Fi eSIM support was first introduced with the Google Pixel 2 series when they were bought through Fi.

Later, Google Fi support was expanded to Pixel 3 and 3a. Then, with the Pixel 4 series, Google Fi eSIM support was available across all Pixel devices.
