Python is an interpreted, object-oriented, high-level programming language with dynamic semantics. Python’s simple, easy to learn syntax emphasizes readability and therefore reduces the cost of program maintenance. Python supports modules and packages, which encourages program modularity and code reuse.

Python is a general purpose programming language. Hence, you can use the programming language for developing both desktop and web applications.

Python is used by Intel, IBM, NASA, Pixar, JP Morgan Chase, and a number of other major companies. It is one of the four main languages at Google (along with C++, Java, and Go). Google’s YouTube is largely written in Python. So are Reddit, Pinterest, and Instagram.

Python is developed under an OSI-approved open source license, making it freely usable and distributable, even for commercial use. Python’s license is administered by the Python Software Foundation.

Let’ see some of the disadvantages of Python Programming

1.Speed: Python is interpreted language and is slow as compared to C/C++ or Java. Unlike C or C++ it’s not closer to hardware because Python is a high-level language.

2.Memory Consumption: For any memory intensive tasks Python is not a good choice.

On average, it can take anywhere from five to 10 weeks to learn the basics of Python programming, including object-oriented programming, basic Python syntax, data types, loops, variables, and functions.

Python will be the language of the future. Testers will have to upgrade their skills and learn these languages to tame the AI and ML tools. 

Python might not have bright years in the past years (which is mainly launch in the year 1991) but it has seen a continuous and amazing trend of growth in the 21st century.
